The 1811 House offers the perfect Southern Vermont vacation
retreat, with a backdrop of historic Manchester Village. However,
for many who seek a romantic country inn, it's the room, its
decor and the amenities that really matter.
Each
of the 1811 House guest rooms offers a story of its own. The
rooms are named for Manchester's illustrious and colorful
figures, and each offers guests a glimpse into the sophistication
of historic Manchester Village.
Guest
rooms are located in the Inn, and at the adjacent cottage.
The rooms all feature a private bath, oriental rugs, fine
artwork, and authentic American and English antiques. Your
guest room includes two comfortable chairs, alarm clock, bath
amenities, bottled water, hair dryer, and luxurious bathrobes.
Wireless
internet access is available throughout the Inn including
all common areas and in each guest room.
While you're at
the Inn, we encourage you to relax in the living room and
library, both featuring wood burning fireplaces. We hope you'll
make yourself comfortable in the public areas.
